DO I HAVE TO BE A SALES, MARKETING, OR BUSINESS MAJOR TO JOIN?
NO! All majors are welcome!
HOW OFTEN DOES PI SIGMA EPSILONÂ MEET?
Our chapter meets once a week on Tuesdays at 7:15pm on campus in WB144 or through zoom.
HOW DO I JOIN A MEETING FOR THE FIRST TIME?
If you are interested in learning more about becoming a member, the 1st step in this process is attending one of our call-out meetings! After attending a call out meeting you would attend one of our New-Member meetings. This is the 2nd step in our new member recruitment process.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ATTENDING A CALL OUT MEETING AND A NEW MEMBER MEETING?
A Call-out Meeting happens 1st in our new member process. In this meeting you learn more about what PSE is, what we do within our org, the member benefits and opportunities, national and corporate sponsors and more! This should help make you feel more knowledgeable about what PSE can offer to you so you feel comfortable and want to learn more at the New Member meeting on how to join.
I ATTENDED A CALL-OUT MEETING AND A NEW MEMBER MEETING, NOW WHAT?
After you have attended at least 1 of each meeting, we will host a test review before interviews and a brotherhood social to give potential new members the opportunity to interact more with our brothers. The final step is attending the interviews.
WHAT IS THE TEST REVIEW FOR? WHAT TEST DO I HAVE TO TAKE?
Before your interview you will take a test over Pi Sigma Epsilon that includes information covering our history, values, executive board, and more. We will host a test review for potential new members prior to interviews while also providing the necessary information to pnm's to study.
DO I HAVE TO BE A MEMBER TO PARTICIPATE?
Yes. In order to attend chapter, socials, PD's, etc. you would need to be offered and accept a bid of membership after your interview. You will be notified by email within 1-2 days after interviews.
WHAT ARE PROJECTS?
Each member is required to participate in at least one project each semester. A project is where a group of brothers organize a fundraiser or event to raise money for either another organization or our chapter. Members are encouraged and welcome to be apart of multiple projects if interested. New members will also be required to work together with their pledge class to complete one new member project during their first semester of membership.
